Trong thời cổ đại xa xôi hàng nghìn năm về trước, một vị pháp sư nổi tiếng trong lịch sử Nhật Bản - Ozuno Enno - xuất thân từ thôn làng nhỏ ven núi tên gọi Shikigami-cho (thôn Thức Thần) đã cùng các Quỷ Thần của ngài tiêu diệt thế lực tà ác đứng đầu là nữ ma thần Karuma, mang lại sự bình yên cho nhân loại. Tiêu diệt Karuma xong, ngài Ozuno phong ấn 1 trong những môn đồ của mình là Quỷ Thần Zenki vô địch vào cột đá phía trước đền Enno của dòng họ như là biểu tượng của quyền lực chế ngự bóng tối. Hơn 1000 năm sau đó, hậu duệ đồng thời cũng là truyền nhân của ông – Chiaki Enno – cô bé nữ sinh trung học đã giải phong ấn cho Zenki trước sự xuất hiện của Quả Ký Sinh (hình khối cầu, to như nhãn cầu mắt). Quả Ký Sinh chính là hiện thân của nữ ma thần Karuma, thường bám vào các ký chủ mang dục vọng to lớn, khuếch đại dục vọng khiến họ mất kiểm soát bản thân, Quả Ký Sinh hút lấy dục vọng và khi chín, ký chủ sẽ bị biến thành quái vật. Nhiệm vụ của Zenki là tiêu diệt quái vật và ăn tất cả các Quả Ký Sinh tồn tại trên thế giới.
Như vậy, sau một giấc ngủ dài hàng thiên niên kỷ, Quỷ Thần Zenki đã tỉnh giấc khi yêu ma một lần nữa hoành hành thế gian. Cuộc đối đầu định mệnh giữa thiện và ác lại tái diễn.

== Nhân vật chính ==
1. Enno Chiaki (Dịch Tiểu Minh): Nữ pháp sư 17 tuổi, truyền nhân của Enno Ozuno

Tính tình nhạy cảm, sôi nổi, vui vẻ hoạt bát và khá nhí nhảnh.

Chiaki là hậu duệ đời thứ 55 của vị pháp sư huyền thoại Enno Ozuno. Vì cha mẹ chuyên ngành Khảo Cổ nên thường phải đi xa, Chiaki sống từ nhỏ với bà và cùng nhau canh giữ đền Enno là di sản tổ tiên cô để lại. Khác với cốt truyện Anime, trong Manga thì Chiaki đã phải sống xa bà mình 1 thời gian. Chiaki là 1 cô gái mạnh mẽ, có tinh thần bảo vệ chính nghĩa, sẵn sàng hy sinh bảo vệ điều thiện và bảo vệ người cô yêu quý bằng mọi giá. Cũng chính vì trái tim đôn hậu mà cô được cụ tổ Ozuno chọn là người thừa hưởng pháp thuật và trao quyền điều khiển các Quỷ Thần của ngài chống lại cái ác sau này.
2. Quỷ Thần Zenki (Tiền Quỷ): Chiến Quỷ Thần Ánh Sét Đỏ VAJRA

Tính tình thô bạo, ương ngạnh, tự cao tự đại, bất phục tùng và đặc biệt không thích ai mạnh hơn mình.

Hiện tại có 2 hình dạng: dạng trước và sau khi được giải phong ấn.
Bắt nguồn từ mối lo ngại Zenki nếu giữ nguyên hình dạng, với tính hung hăng hiếu chiến của mình, sẽ là mối đe dọa cho chúng sinh trong thời bình, ngài Ozuno đã quyết định biến Zenki thành đồng tử, nghĩa là phong ấn cho teo lại còn bé xíu, sức mạnh chỉ bằng 1 đứa trẻ con không hơn không kém. Sau khi được giải ấn nhờ Hộ Pháp Luân, Zenki sẽ phục hồi nguyên trạng to lớn-mạnh mẽ, và nhờ sự hỗ trợ của người chủ nhân mới và người bạn đồng môn thưở trước, ngài trở nên Chiến Quỷ Thần Ánh Sáng TỐI THƯỢNG với sức mạnh vô biên, sẵn sàng nghênh chiến với bất kỳ thế lực tà ác nào quấy phá nền hòa bình nhân loại.
Điểm mạnh: Lạnh lùng, dũng mãnh, táo bạo đến mức liều mạng, khát vọng chiến thắng bằng mọi giá.
Điểm yếu: Vô cùng hung hăng, khi chiến đấu chủ yếu dựa chỉ vào sức mạnh, đánh là đánh không cần suy nghĩ.
Sở thích: Làm theo ý mình, đương đầu địch thủ (càng mạnh càng tốt), ngủ và ăn, đặc biệt cực kỳ ưa thích quả Ký Sinh.
